Dream/Time Travel seeing Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) at Mount Safa

I came across a young good looking Syrian guy living in Germany last year. He had a tough life in Syria and finally managed to walk bare foot for weeks to get out of Syria. He missed his parents who were still stuck in the war and planned to have them rescued. While talking to him, we came across discussing Islam and love for Great Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam). He told me that he has been lucky to see  Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) in his dream and loves Him dearly. This is a common statement by all those who have seen or observed life of Dearest Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam). He is the most magnificent, pure and kindest human you can ever imagine. He cared about us more than our parents ever will and you love and respect Him instantly. Non-Muslims who were blessed by His presence in their dreams have accepted Islam. I pray we are lucky enough to witness His presence on day of judgement and hereafter. AMEEN.

Non-Muslims accepting Islam after seeing Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) in a dream

Back to the Syrian guy, it has been more than a decade that nobody has been able to explain what the dream meant. Being lucky enough to experience the same, I insisted on knowing the dream and the details were shockingly astonishing. *SUBHANALLAH*

The guy had the dream at Fajr time. He saw himself standing near a mountain with some other people around him. From a distance he could hear and see Great  Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam). He was attentive and knew every word  Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) said must be true as  Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) had a well know reputation of being Honest and Truthful. They guy couldn’t recall the exact speech of  Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) but all he remembers that he felt spellbound and was fully attentive like everyone else around him. He could see Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) giving the speech alone on the mountain confidently. The guy said he knew in his heart that an extremely kind-hearted angel like  Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) could not deceive with lies nor mislead anyone. The dream ended with him lost watching Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) on the small mountain.

INTERPRETATION OF THE DREAM

The poor guy had been asking people for around 12 years. As soon as I heard the dream, I exclaimed “Mount Safa”. It is the first speech on Mount Safa that Sweet Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) gave after the first revelation. The guy who never heard or read about this actually time traveled to the event in his dream as the Mount Safa he saw in his dream does not exist in the same form anymore. It is confined  in a closed block close to Kaabah.

Time travel in dreams is a phenomenon expressed by Islam. I strongly believe this as I too saw events in my dream that I never knew and upon research I found they were quoted 1400 years ago! The guy couldn’t believe me that what he witnessed was an actual event quoted in Islamic history. I then shared search links with him that proved this event had happened the same way 1400 years back. The guy naturally went in shock and couldn’t respond for several minutes. These are such amazing and unbelievable experiences that it takes time to accept miracles do happen.

Mount_Safa_Mecca.jpg
Al-Safa and Al-Marwah are two small hills now located in the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia between which Muslims travel back and forth seven times during the ritual pilgrimages of Hajj and Umrah.

Here are the details taken from the incident called The Wa Sabahah (c.613) from the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ab%C5%AB_Lahab

When Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) announced that He had been instructed by Allah to spread the message of Islam openly, the Quran told Him to warn His kinsfolk about divine punishment. He therefore climbed Mount Ṣafā and shouted: “Wa ṣabāḥah!” which means, “O calamity of the morning!” In Arabia this alarm was traditionally raised by any person who noticed an enemy tribe advancing against his own tribe at dawn.

On hearing this, the inhabitants of Mecca assembled at the mountain. Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) then addressed the clans by name. “O Banū Hāshim, O Banū ‘Abd al-Muṭallib … [and so on], if I were to tell you that behind this hill there is an enemy about to attack you, would you believe me?” The people responded that they would, since Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) was known to be honest. He continued saying: “Then I warn you that you are heading for a torment.”

At this point, Abu Lahab interrupted: “Woe be on you the rest of the day! Is that what you summoned us for?” Abu Lahab rejected the claims of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) and said: “Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) promises me things which I do not see. He alleges that they will happen after my death; what has he put in my hands after that?” Then he blew on his hands and said, “May you perish. I can see nothing in you of the things that Muhammad says. Another tradition recalls Abū Lahab picking up a stone to throw at his nephew.

ABU LAHAB’s FINAL DESTINATION REVEALED

Abu Lahab after spending his useless life in creating extremely difficult situations for Dearest Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam), Abu Lahb finally went off to hell in the way he deserved. Abu Lahab was in a tent called Zamzam after the battle of Badr. In another tent, a Muslim freedman named Abu Rafi’ and Abbas’s wife Lubaba sat sharpening arrows. When they heard the news of the men in white riding between heaven and earth, they could no longer contain their happiness, and Abu Rafi exclaimed: “They were angels!” Abu Lahab was so furious that he forced the frail Abu Rafi’ to the ground and beat him up. Lubaba grabbed a nearby tent pole and hit her brother-in-law over the head, crying: “Do you think that you can abuse him just because Abbas is away?”

Lubaba wounded Abu Lahab so severely that his head was split open, laying bare part of his skull. The wound turned septic, and his entire body erupted into open pustules for a week. The smell from Abu Lahab’s wound was so repulsive that nobody could come near him. His family left his decaying body decomposing in his home for two or three nights until a neighbour rebuked them. “It is disgraceful. You should be ashamed of leaving your father to rot in his house and not bury him from the sight of men!” They then sent in slaves to remove his body. It was watered from a distance, then pushed with poles into a grave outside Mecca, and stones were thrown over it.

It is said that after Abu Lahab’s death, some of his relatives had a dream in which they saw him suffering in Hell. He told them that he had experienced no comfort in the Afterlife.

PROPHET IBRAHIM AND MOUNT SAFA

According to the Holy Quran, Allah ordered Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihe Sallam) to take his wife Hajra (Razitallah Anhu) and their son Ismael (Alaihe Sallam) to a place where Mecca is situated now. Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihe Sallam) accompanied Hajra (Razitallah Anhu) and their son Ismael (Alaihe Sallam) whom she was still nursing, and left them at (the site of) the House of Allah [Kaabah]. At that time, at that place there was neither water nor dwellers. Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihe Sallam) left a bag of dates and a waterskin for them. Then Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihe Sallam) went away. Hajra (Razitallah Anhu) said to him, “O Ibrahim! Where are you going? Are you going to leave us in this valley where there is neither human nor living creature?” She repeated this several times, but He did not answer. Finally, she asked Him, “Has Allah commanded you to do so?” He answered, “Yes.” Thereupon she said, “Then He will not let us perish!”.

Hajra (Razitallah Anhu) drank from the waterskin and nursed her baby, until all the water she had was gone and her milk dried up. When her son grew hungrier and thirsty, she could hardly bear to look at Him. So she went and stood at Al-Safa – the hill nearest to her – and looked down in the valley to see if there was someone there to help, but she could see no one. She, then climbed  down Al-Safa and reached Al-Marwah. She stood thereon and looked all around. Still she could see no one nearby. She repeated this seven times. Hajra (Razitallah Anhu) searched desperately for water in the hills of Safa and Marwa to give to her son Ismael (Alaihe Sallam) As she ran from one place to another in search of water,(For this reason, Pilgrims walk (do Sai) between Safa and Marwah). When she reached Mount Marwa (for the last time) she heard a sound, Allah sent His Angel Jibreel for their help. He struck the ground with his foot and a spring of water gushed forth from the earth. This was the place where her child rubbed his feet against the sand, where water sprang out. A pool of water surfaced, and by the grace of Allah, shaped itself into a well. The name of the well comes from the phrase Zam Zam, meaning ‘stop flowing’, a command repeated by Hajra (Razitallah Anhu) during her attempt to contain the spring water.

Shortly, a group of the Jurhum tribe came nearby and saw a bird hovering about the spot of water. They reached the place and asked Hajra (Razitallah Anhu) for permission to settle in that place. She gave them permission but stipulated that they would have no right to the water. They agreed on her condition.

Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihe Sallam) rebuilt the Bait-ul-Allah (House of Allah) at the site of the well, a building which had been originally constructed by Adam (Alaihe Sallam), and today is called the Kaaba, a building towards which all Muslims around the world face in prayer, five times each day. The Zamzam well is located approximately 20 meters east of the Kaaba.
